I'm a Disease - Where's My Drug?

Genome Atlantic joins Dalhousie University and BioNova in welcoming Dr. Marlene Haffner for a discussion on Thursday, Jan.20th about the regulatory aspects of drug development, highlighting changes and challenges with the USFDA, with a particular emphasis on orphan diseases.

Dr. Haffner has received many awards for her work in drug development including The Outstanding Contributions to Pharmaceutical Medicine Award from the Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians, and in May 2009, The Woodrow Wilson Award for Outstanding Government Service from the John Hopkins University.
